Handmade in Nebraska
Our name was inspired by a donkey that we adopted and named Don Key. When I first saw him I said, "What a chubby donkey!" and the phrase stuck with me.
I started leatherworking in the fall of 2024 and have dedicated my time to learning and honing my craft and finally I am opening my shop to offer my work.
Everything in my shop is one of a kind or custom. I simply do not enjoy making repetitive pieces, and also love providing customers with something unique that no one else has.
